1. About GDPR
GDPR is a regulation that dictates specific requirements with which businesses must comply to protect the personal data privacy of EU citizens and establish a system for processing customers' personal data. You can obtain a GDPR checklist for data controllers on the official GDPR website.
2. How does Ad Radar's data partners source business contact data?
The business contact database is built with data derived from multiple, carefully evaluated sources. Techniques like SEO crawlers are used to scan public websites and build the database. Email IDs are maintained for zero to minimal bounce rates using software that periodically refreshes the database.
A number of third-party partnerships allow for constant data cleanup and help ensure data is obtained as accurately as possible.
3. Can end users opt-out of the Ad Radar Database?
Anyone can opt out of the business contact database at any time by writing to and mentioning their communication preferences. However, this does not include transactional emails sent to our customers. Customers receive confirmation once the data has been removed. The usual time for data removal is 7 days.
4. What Is Double Opt-In And Why Is It Important?
Double opt-in is a system for adding new contacts to your email list that involves collecting an email address through a signup form and sending a confirmation email to that address to validate the contact information before adding it to the list.
This helps ensure subscribers genuinely want to receive your emails by adding an extra confirmation step. It also helps marketing teams engage with audiences more effectively while reducing unsubscribe rates and spam complaints.
5. How Does Ad Radar Protect Its Customer Data?
Ad Radar takes precautions, including appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures, to protect customer data. User data is securely stored in an encrypted database and is accessible only through the Ad Radar interface (nodes). The database service is deployed within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) hosted on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS, which are SOC2 compliant. To prevent misuse of login credentials, passwords are AES-encrypted and stored in the database.
6. How do our Customers become compliant with GDPR?
To help our customers remain compliant with GDPR, our data sources by default exclude the contact information of EU residents. If you would like access to the contact information of EU residents, please write to us at.
7. How Can Customers Reach Out To Us on GDPR Concerns?
Please write to for concerns regarding communication preferences and other GDPR queries.
